i’m not usually the type to do suggestions,, & u may have done that already, but i’d suggest some duplication of the glitch fragmentations would be cool & realistic,,, i’d say,,, (some temporal/echo duplication would be even better, but no blending of course)
so far it’s seems to just displace/colorise/saturate ect,,, which is already lush,,,,
when do u think it will be available to buy? or test drive? as i have work to do for some clients next week,, & i know they would love it… altho i can do something similar in jitter, having it in ae would be sweat as…

I have been working on a new plugin that creates realistic Digital Image glitches. Something you would see during a Satellite transmission or a cable broadcast or a damaged disk. Bad TV plugin is great for Analog TV look, but this is 2010 and you hardly see anything that’s analog, since most of the TV channels are now broadcasted in digital. This plugin simulates a realistic digital glitch effect. Check out this sample video rendered with the plugin. (I just wiggled the glitch slider, but there is a lot more control over the glitch.)

Update: New Plugin Teaser posted.

So how does this plugin work? In real-life most of the glitches occur due to problems in encoding/decoding and sometimes data corruption. This plugin does exactly that. It encodes the data ,glitches the data and then decodes it similar to the real life situation. This project is actually inspired by Justin Windle’s JPEG Glitch tool, but this geared towards videos and other compression techniques. There is still a bit of work to be done for the plugin to be production ready, so the pricing and the availability will be announced soon. Any comments/suggestions are certainly welcome.
